I'm Megan, and I've been one of Karen's best friends since my family moved to Hampton back in 1999.

Karen and her kids - Jackson (5) and Harper (almost 3) - are navigating an incredibly difficult chapter. Right now, Karen is carrying the full weight of financially supporting the household on her own.

While long-term support parameters are still being worked out through official channels, she could use some immediate help making ends meet, especially with Harper's birthday and the holidays right around the corner.

I know times are tight for a lot of us, and this isn’t a call for grand gestures. But if enough of us can chip in in small, manageable ways, it could make a real difference in helping her keep things stable and safe for the kids.
