On September 17, 2025, I was diagnosed with stomach cancer. As a single mom to two amazing daughters, this news has turned our world upside down. My oldest, 13, is mature beyond her years—she’s my best friend, always helping with her little sister and caring for our dogs. She dreams of becoming a veterinarian and finds joy in music. My youngest, 9, is full of happiness and kindness, always singing and dancing, and already has a passion for debate and hopes to practice law one day. They are my world, and their strength keeps me going every day.
Since my diagnosis, I’ve been unable to work due to ongoing treatments, and I was laid off from my job in May. The combination of medical appointments and my health has made it impossible to find new work. As a result, I’ve fallen behind on rent and am at risk of eviction. Losing our home would be devastating for my daughters and me. Our current home is close to their school, allowing them to take the bus and maintain stability in their education. We don’t have enough family nearby to support us, and moving would mean changing schools and doctors, which would be extremely difficult for both my health and my daughters’ well-being.
I’m asking for help to catch up on rent and keep our home. Your support will allow us to stay together, maintain our routines, and focus on my recovery and my daughters’ happiness. Any contribution will make a real difference for our family during this challenging time.
