As a single mother of 4 young children, Kara relies on the maintenance and child support from her ex husband coupled with her job to make ends meet. In a few months Kara’s now ex-husband will go into state custody for an undetermined number of years. This will substantially impact Kara's ability to care for her children as they will lose all child support.
