Support Kara & Kandice After Mom's Cancer Battle
Donation protected
Kimmesha Simmons was born on August 8, 1978, in Brooklyn, NY. She was a loving mother to three children who brought immense joy to her life: Kadheem (25), Kara (13), and Kandice (16). Kimmesha's battle with cancer began at the tender age of 12 when she was diagnosed with sarcoma, a type of bone cancer. Faced with a difficult decision, Kimmesha chose to have her leg amputated to continue living her life.
In August 2007, Kimmesha joined the Police Academy, working for the Specialized Training Section as a Police Administrative Aide. Despite her ongoing health challenges, including kidney cancer in 2017 which led to the removal of one kidney, and later the removal of a lung due to cancer, Kimmesha remained dedicated to her work and her family.
This year, 2024, Kimmesha faced yet another battle with cancer when a tumor was found in her lung. After undergoing surgery to remove the tumor, she chose to return home to be with her children. Tragically, on November 23, 2024, Kimmesha passed away at Christina Hospital in Elkton, Maryland.
Kimmesha's unwavering strength and determination to stay alive for her children is a testament to her love and dedication. In her honor, we are creating a fund for her daughters, Kara and Kandice. The proceeds raised will be held in trust and distributed to them when they reach the age of 21.
We kindly ask for your support in helping secure a brighter future for Kara and Kandice. Your generous donations will make a significant difference in their lives as they navigate this difficult time without their beloved mother.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
