The Kaolack Majorette Group is made up of 30 talented young girls, ages 7 to 18, who share a passion for dance and performance. Coming from families with limited financial means, these girls have dedicated themselves to their art, working tirelessly to improve their skills and uplift their community. Their dream is to become performers and to use their talents to inspire others and create positive change in Dakar, Kaolack and beyond.

In 2026, the group has a unique opportunity to perform at major events in Dakar, Senegal. This is more than just a performance—it's a chance for these girls to shine on a national stage, build their confidence, and bring their community together in a spirit of hope and pride. However, organizing these events comes with significant financial challenges. The group needs support to cover essential costs such as rehearsal space, uniforms, travel fees, paying the drummers, purchasing equipment and accessories, and renting the national theater in Dakar.
