Hi, my name is Kandyce Cole, and I’m organizing a community project here in San Diego to serve tamales to about 200 unhoused individuals on November 21st.

I’ll be serving fresh, homemade tamales and bottled water, and I’m currently collecting donations of food items and supplies to help make it possible.

With SNAP benefits recently being discontinued for many people, even more individuals in our community are struggling to access food. That’s why I want to do something tangible to show care and provide a warm meal to those in need this season.

Any contribution whether it’s ingredients, bottled water, or a small donation, will make a real difference. Everything goes directly toward providing food for people in need right here in our community.
