On January 17th, Kandace Lord came down with sudden pain and flu-like symptoms and went to the ER to find out she had a perforation in her lower intestine, a ruptured mass, and a resulting infection. She received emergency surgery, but her blood pressure remained dangerously low and the infection spread to her kidneys and liver. On January 19, 2024, after a hard fight, Kandace's body shut down and she tragically passed away at the age of 44.

Kandace's passing was completely unexpected, and her family -- husband Jeff and children Emma (age 19) and Ethan (age 16) -- were in no way prepared for it. There are significant costs to the medical care Kandace received, as well as the immense burden of losing the mother who was in many ways their foundation.

Any help to keep Jeff, Emma and Ethan afloat in this painful and uncertain time would be tremendously appreciated.
