Hello, My name is Ilona Jackson and first I would like to thank you for taking your time reading my request. This gofundme is for a small community in the Kasese District of Uganda, Africa. I’m working with a couple of young adults to improve the lives of approximately 70 mostly orphaned children. Mr. Kamalha Junior is the director and him and a few members of the community are taking care of the children they rarely receive any type of pay they are volunteers that give their all to help their community. The small classroom like structures need many materials to build better walls floors and student desks and learning materials are always needed really badly. Kamalha has achieved a lot so far through donations from absolutely kind people. He managed to improve the structures of the buildings but needs more help. He build a fish pond and we got a few chickens for the kids to have meat on very rare special occasions. He still needs to finish a latrine the children need clothes school uniforms and shoes. There is no running water he is trying to work on that issue. He does all of this while him and his future wife have a 9 month daughter and no real home of their own. They stay with the kids. As you can see the need is great the resources are very limited. If you could find it in your heart to donate a small amount to help we would forever be grateful. I try to do fundraising twice a year so they can continue to build this orphanage and give these kids that already live in extreme poverty with no parents the best life possible under the circumstances. He’s also showering them with love and is teaching them how to become a good loving human being.
