Support Kaitlin During Her Loss

Our close friend, Kaitlin, has experienced the terrible and sudden loss of her life partner, Sean, to complications with an aggressive brain cancer.

Sean was the most authentic person -- never conforming and always bringing that out in those around him. He knew who he was and saw other people for who they were without judgment. Caring for others came naturally for Sean. Because this was such a big part of his character, Sean's family has chosen to give the gift of life to others through organ donation.

Sean loved life and lived it fully in his 32 years, choosing a job that let him live in Boulder, CO where he could engage in adventure sports throughout the year, while earning a living working for himself. As an avid rock-climber, biker, and skier, he was meant to be outside, and he found the perfect partner in Kaitlin.

For Kaitlin's birthday this year, Sean put down a deposit for a puppy they were going to name Mars. Amidst the unknowns that Sean faced with his health, he expressed to Kaitlin that she should still get the puppy. Kaitlin picked up little Mars on March 16th!

Mars is a light in Kaitlin's life right now, and we want to support her during this transitional time. We are asking for donations to help her with vet appointments, dog training, meals, living expenses, and anything else that will help ease life for Kaitlin.
