Born in Mexico City on May 12, 1991, Kaia was just six months old when her parents brought her to the United States. She grew up in Port Hueneme, California, before making Salt Lake City her home.

Now, Kaia is facing an incredibly challenging situation and needs our urgent help to get her back home safely. These funds will help her get back to Mexico safely and get established. Kaia is a bright light to all those who know her and a proud POC and LGBTQ+ community member. She's overcome a lot of obstacles in her life and never asks for a handout.
