My name is Samuel Lilly, and I am raising funds on behalf of Mohammed Kaheel, who is now living in Gaza. This is his story:
"I am Mohammed Kaheel from Gaza. I have suffered horrendously since the beginning of the systematic war on Gaza.
My eldest son, Nidal, was martyred in a bombing at an UNRWA school along with his friends. My second son Abdullah (13) is the sole survivor of this attack. He sustained an abdominal injury that required the removal of his spleen, lost the entirety of his thigh bone and thigh muscles, and had the fingers of his left hand severed.
Abdullah is now receiving treatment in Egypt with his mother Sabreen. His leg was saved from amputation, but it suffers from numerous complications and requires multiple surgeries.
Meanwhile, the situation for my children in Gaza is catastrophic; our tent is dilapidated. I have six children here: my daughters Rina (17) and Rimas (16), and my sons Ahmed (11), Ezz El-Din (10), Maya (7), and Faris (4). We are left stuck in the sands of Gaza and its destruction. Basic necessities such as food, drink, and other essentials of daily life, if they are available, are very expensive.”
Funds received through this campaign go towards Abdullah’s medical treatment as well as necessities for his siblings in Gaza, including their food, shelter, medicine, fuel for cooking, and other daily necessities.
