Kadesha is a Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists at Columbia University and was honored to be selected for a medical mission trip to Kenya in March 2026. During this trip, she will assist a multidisciplinary medical team in providing critical care and life-impacting anesthesia to children at a local pediatric clinic receiving surgery. This experience offers a rare opportunity to serve underserved communities, enhance their clinical skills, and make a lasting impact on families with limited access to healthcare.

Unfortunately, although this opportunity to make an impact is made possible through Columbia University, the University does not provide any financial support to students. As result, students are tasked with fundraising to cover flight, accommodations and food whilst on the mission trip.
