A Message From Action Jackson the founder of the JYC Workforce Development Program.
I’ve taken this program as far as I can with my own strength and my own tools. Now I’m asking for help not for me, but for the people whose lives are being changed here every single day. Whether you donate or simply share, your support truly matters.
For the past two years, I’ve personally invested my time, equipment, and resources into building J.Y.C. Workforce Development a program that gives people from all walks of life a real chance to gain skills, confidence, and a future through honest work.
This program has become a home for people searching for direction, stability, and a second chance. Our trainees don’t just learn job skills they learn responsibility, professionalism, communication, teamwork, and pride in their work. And as they grow, they give back by helping seniors, disabled residents, single parents, and families in need with free community service.
But today, everything we’ve built is at risk.
Our heated warehouse the heart of our entire operation is being put up for sale.
This space is our training center, classroom, workshop, equipment storage, and snow response base. Without it, this program cannot survive.
Why We’re Raising Funds
We urgently need support to:
✔ Secure and stabilize our location
✔ Repair and replace worn-down equipment
✔ Provide proper PPE and safety gear
✔ Continue training workers for real careers
✔ Keep providing FREE community services to those who need it most
For two years, I’ve carried this program on limited resources and personal equipment. The wear and tear has caught up with us and now we need help to keep going.
When the Community Needs Us Most
When heavy snowstorms hit, we step in to help people who are trapped or unable to clear their homes and businesses one driveway, one walkway at a time. For many, this means safety. For our trainees, it teaches responsibility and purpose in real time.
