Hello all!

My name is Claudia and I am currently posting this Go Fund Me in regards to my mother and our family. Exactly a week ago from today, my mom and I received the call that she had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. After more testing and appointments with her doctors, we have learned that it is a very aggressive stage of breast cancer growing at a rate of 85%. Due to its aggressive nature, the doctors have jumped right into full swing meaning that her port placement and chemotherapy will be starting at the beginning of next week. After our appointment with her breast surgeon today, we found out that after her chemo treatments are completed, she will be getting a double mastectomy.

However, despite what you all may find as bad news, we are all very optimistic in her journey and hoping for the best.

For the past 8 and a half years, my mom has cared for others as a Patient Care Technician in the Emergency Room and it’s time to show her that we care just as much, if not more, about her. She brings joy to her patients and colleagues with her infectious smile, her contagious laughter, and her bright personality.

We appreciate all of your help, love, donations, and support at this time, as not only is she going through this journey, but so is her family and loved ones. This has been just as hard on her husband, Craig, and all of her children and stepchildren including Travis, Kayla, Jarrett, Brandon, Zach, and myself.
