After meeting on Instagram almost 12 years ago, we quickly knew we were meant for each other. Tyler instantly fell at ease with Justin’s calm and patient demeanor, his positive support and his kindness toward others. Justin loved Tyler’s zest for life, sense of humor, hardworking ethic and musical creativity. Our shared values of “family first” are what ultimately unite us.

As a couple we have always looked forward to starting a family. This desire has driven every decision toward our eventual dream. We moved to Camarillo to be closer to family and create an integral support system around us. Tyler received his Master’s in Piano Performance and owns a private music studio that he, Justin, and his father-in-law built from the ground up. He loves his job, working with children and watching them develop and grow. Justin completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and rehabilitates members of our community in home health bettering their way and quality of life. We got married, worked hard, saved, and finally purchased a little home in a cul-de-sac with a large backyard to bring a bit of Tyler’s Idaho roots to our lives. Our desire for a better work/life balance has become a reality.

We take pride in the traditional successes of graduate degrees, homeownership, and financial stability, but the planning and preparation of a family is now on the main stage.

We have been approved to work with one of the most incredible agencies in the US that prioritize the LGBTQ+ community. While they can keep their fees lower compared to other companies, the fees for adoption overall are staggering. Here's a breakdown:

Our savings is now centered on the upfront costs of adoption. We are excited to make this dream a reality, however long it takes.
