Hello my name is Vickie Davis, L.M.F.T., M.A., founder of Juneteenth Jam — a vibrant, family-centered community celebration held each year in honor of freedom and historical triumph. Juneteenth Jam is a platform for healing, empowerment, and cultural pride that brings thousands together across generations.

We are raising funds to help sustain and grow our powerful lineup of free, inclusive programming, including:

Skatepark Takeover – with gear giveaways, pro skater demos & traffic safety education

Women's 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament & Community 3-Point Contest

Flag Football Tournament – bringing youth and families together through sports, mentorship, and community pride

Juneteenth Cook-Off – celebrating culture through food

Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant – Honoring resillient young women

Art Exhibit Honoring Women in the IE – featuring portraits of “history in the making”

Book Giveaway– over 2,000 culturally empowering books shared

️ 100+ Local Vendors – including small businesses, youth entrepreneurs & nonprofits

Health & Wellness Pavilion – launching a new community healthcare initiative

Live Entertainment, Master Classes & Family Activities– including line dancing, wellness, ancestry tracing, dominoes, bid-whist and more!
