Hi. I’m Becky. That’s a picture of my amazing Mom, June McKay. Many of you know her. Many of your lives have been touched by her kindness and generosity. She shares love wherever she goes, basically adopting anyone as her “kid” or “grandkid”. Right now, she needs your kindness and generosity. In June 2024, she suffered a stroke which left minimal side effects, allowing her to still get around without too much difficulty.

On Oct 17, 2025, however, she suffered a major stroke while visiting her family in Oregon (she lives with me in Texas). She is now left with limited abilities and will need major accommodations.

Because she lives with me, there are many things to be done: plane tickets so I can get her back down here, a wheelchair ramp, a second vehicle to take her to appointments (we only have 1 currently), a wheelchair, handles around the house, and potentially a hospital bed if insurance decides they won’t cover it.

Please help if you can, share this with others. This request for help isn’t about me. My Mom has done so much for others, I just hope she can be surrounded by the love and care she needs during this time.
