Help a Single Mother of Three Secure a Vehicle

Hi, my name is Julie. I’m a single mother of three who has spent the last few years doing everything in my power to keep my children safe, stable, and moving forward after unimaginable loss. In 2023, my children and I survived a house fire that destroyed nearly everything we owned. We escaped with our lives, but rebuilding from that kind of trauma took every ounce of strength I had. With faith, determination, and the kindness of others, we eventually secured a new home and began rebuilding from the ground up. I found a full time work from home job and, for the first time in a long while, felt hopeful that stability was finally within reach. Not long after, a power surge damaged my work equipment, and I lost that job through no fault of my own. Refusing to give up, I did what I’ve always done for my kids I adapted. I began driving for Uber Eats to earn income while continuing to apply for full time remote positions. Then, just before Thanksgiving, our only vehicle suffered a catastrophic engine failure. The motor seized without warning. In a single moment, everything stopped. Right now, we have no reliable transportation. That means no way for me to work outside the home, no way to take advantage of local job opportunities, and limited ability to get my children where they need to be. I am actively searching for a work from home position, but without transportation, my options are extremely limited and time is not on our side. We recently relocated to Fort Pierce, far from family and any real support system. There is no backup car, no one nearby who can step in. We are doing our best, but we are stuck/stranded. This fundraiser exists for one very specific, life changing goal to secure a reliable vehicle, whether through purchase or a partial trade for the vehicle we currently have. One working car would immediately restore my ability to work, attend interviews, provide consistency for my children, and move us out of survival mode and into rebuilding again, begin living vs existing again. Asking for help does not come easily to me. I am someone who has always worked, pushed through, and figured things out for my kids no matter how hard it got. But right now, the reality is that I cannot fix this alone, and my pride is not worth my children continuing to live in limbo. If you are able to donate, share this fundraiser, offer a lead on a vehicle, or even just keep us in your prayers, please know that it truly matters. Every share helps us reach someone new. Every contribution brings us one step closer to stability, independence, and hope in this new year. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read our story and for supporting my family in any way you can. It means more than words can express. - Julie ❤️
