My sister, Julie Chavero of South Tampa, Florida, and her twin 15 year olds have suffered tremendous damage to their home due to Hurricane Milton and South Tampa flooding. Practically all of the contents of their home now reside on the curb awaiting trash pick up. Gratefully, they are able to temporarily live with Ruth in St Petersburg and are all physically fine but now have to begin the remediation, restoration, and eventual refurnishing of their home. It is unknown how long or expensive this process will be. I am Lisa Tannenbaum of Miami, Florida, Julie's big sister, who is desperately trying to help them. Even if Julie receives her insurance policy's limits for personal property in cash, it won't be enough. Please give anything you can. It is truly appreciated. Hurricane Milton sucks!
