On November 5th, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather Julian Murillo was unexpectedly detained by ICE in Houston, Texas while simply returning to his job site from grabbing lunch. Julian is 50 years old and has lived in the United States since he was just 14. He is NOT a criminal as the media often portrays immigrants. For over three decades, he has built his life here - working tirelessly, raising a family, and contributing to his community as a dedicated construction worker.
Julian is not just a provider. He is a loving husband, a proud father of six children, and a joyful grandfather who adore him. His absence has left our family heartbroken and uncertain about what comes next. We are terrified of losing him to a system that often moves too quickly and without compassion.
Right now, we have hired a trusted immigration attorney to fight for his release and protect him from deportation. Legal representation is our only chance, but attorney fees, documents, court filings cost thousands of dollars we simply do not have.
Julian has spent his life building homes and communities for others. Now we’re humbly asking our community to help us build a path for him to stay in the home he worked so hard to create.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us during this terrifying and painful time. Our family is grateful for every prayer, share, and contribution.❤️
We just want Julian home.
We just want our family whole again.
