Support Jules family following her fight against cancer
Donation protected
update - 17/1/25, through the early hours, our darling Ju passed away. Her last few days were spent surrounded by her caring husband, beautiful children, and close family. Her strength, determination and positivity has shone through and will continue to inspire everyone that had the privilege of knowing her. On behalf of Jules and her family, we want to thank everyone at St Christopher’s hospice who made her time there so comfortable, and provided endless apple juices on the rocks. Her fighting spirit and endless rebellious hope throughout her cancer journey was remarkable and she will be with us all forever. Arrangements of Jules funeral will be sorted soon. Lots of love, Ju’s family❤️
An Update (10/1/25) from Richard Nash:-
The GoFundMe has been a serious life changer for us all and means that not only did we have a fab Christmas where Jules was able to come home and open presents with the children and me on Christmas morning, it will also help us through the next year whilst we adapt to whatever happens next.
Unfortunately the chemotherapy that was helping Jules last year has now become ineffective and so sadly the oncology team, Jules and I decided to stop treatment and make the most of the following chapter.
Jules has been transferred to St Christopher’s Hospice (the equivalent of Dove House Hospice for our Yorkshire friends and family). They are a fantastic team and are already doing their utmost to make Jules as comfortable as possible and accommodate family and friends whilst visiting.
Jules is in good spirits, all things considered, and is still fighting/praying for a miracle. And let’s face it, if anyone can make it happen, Jules can.
Please do keep her in your thoughts and prayers and positively manifest the best outcome.
Original message:-
Our wonderful friend Jules has been extremely unwell for the last few years. She has had bowel cancer which spread to secondaries in the peritoneum twice. She bravely faced rounds of chemo, HPEC and CRS which is the mother of all surgeries.
Jules has a fantastic husband and 2 wonderful children. She has worked for many years as a TA at Clare House and is the kindest, most nurturing and generous friend and mum.
If you would like to show your support for Jules and her family, we are fundraising for a target which will help to reduce the financial pressures during this very difficult period and to enable them to not have to worry about money over Christmas. Every donation will help.
