Support Judson Rambaud's Road to Recovery

Update from Jackie:

This one is really rough to grasp. The surgery was very unsuccessful today. The muscle they took from his thigh to rebuild his lower leg didn’t take and it failed. There are only 2 options: try the same procedure again next Thursday & see if that might take Or .. amputate.

I’m ill just typing this update. My heart aches for him.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. this was an unexpected setback. He will have a wound vac for the week leading up to the next surgery.

UPDATE!!! from his wife Jackie!

Judson is slowly improving each day. Having his 7th surgery in just over a week the doctors made miracles happen to save and reconstruct all his extremities. He has been taken off the ventilator & is breathing on his own. After one whole week he finally woke up and has been communicating. It’s quiet but able to be understood. Hoping to reintroduce regular foods and hopefully be moved out of ICU after the next surgery.

Still many months of rehab & many more surgeries to come. Please keep praying and our hearts are so full from all the support & love everyone has for him.

My name is Shawnisty Hill and I am starting this go fundme for Judson Rambaud whom has been my best friend for over 30 years. On 9/3/24 Jud was riding his motorcycle down 241, not even a mile from his parents home, when he was hit head on by a pick up truck where 93 and 241 intersect. His injuries are extensive and his Army career now over. Anyone that knows Jud, knows that he is a fighter with a huge heart! He has already had 3 surgeons working on 3 different parts of his body and will require several more surgeries in the future. At this time he is in stable condition but has a very long road to recovery ahead due to the extent of his life altering injuries. His wife Jackie has not left his side - together they have 8 beautiful children, 7 of which are in the home. Bills will be piling up quickly and the family and friends of Judson greatly appreciate any donations you are able to make to help ease the major financial burden this will surely have on their family while they are not able to work during the long recovery process.
