With the increased presence of immigration, it was no longer safe to stay. As a result, Juan has made the decision to return to Mexico. He left for Michoacan in early August and left behind his daughter, son, wife, grandchildren, other relatives, and friends. Juan was a main financial contributor to the multi-generational household in Los Angeles. They have lost this essential income since the ICE raids began in Los Angeles. During his time in Mexico, he has not yet had the documents needed to work.

This fundraiser is intended to assist with the process of his family reacclimating to this huge loss and for him to support his new life in Mexico.

Juan has been a main financial provider for his family and has been a hard worker for years. Without his ability to contribute to the household's needs, the multi-generational family has had to carry the challenge of accounting for this loss of income.
