My name is Juan, and my family and I are going through one of the hardest moments of our lives.

Recently, my wife, our 9 month-old daughter, and I were involved in a devastating house fire. We are incredibly grateful to be alive, but we lost everything we had. We were left with nothing but the clothes on our backs.

Right now, we are working with the Red Cross and our renters insurance, but as many people know, recovery takes time. In the meantime, we are trying to rebuild from scratch while caring for our baby girl.

We are in urgent need of basic essentials, including:

• Clothing for all three of us

• Baby supplies (diapers, formula, clothes, etc.)

• Temporary housing and daily living expenses

• Replacing essential items we lost in the fire
