Support Juan and his Family Have a New Beginning

Hi, my name is Vivi and I'm fundraising for my cousin Juan Carlos, his wife Ariagnis, and his toddler Ethan. Juan Carlos and his family recently arrived in Chicago via Texas. They are one of hundreds of Venezuelan families being removed from anti-immigrant states like Texas and Florida and being sent indiscriminately to various states. After being separated from his family and imprisoned in an immigration facility for a month, Juan Carlos is finally reunited with his family at the shelter they're sharing with over 100 other recently arrived families. Little Ethan just recovered from an eye infection he contracted at the shelter, but his wife Ariagnis is currently fighting a fever and severe cough. Juan Carlos spent the last of his money pruchasing medicine so Ethan could recover properly. I'm raising funds as the only belongings they have are the clothes they are wearing. We are hoping with these funds, they can secure 2-3 months of housing and leave the shelter, get clothes to prepare for their first-ever Chicago winter, shoes, purchase diapers and other items for their toddler, food, medicine, personal hygiene products and bus cards so Juan and Ariagnis can start looking for work.

Hola, mi nombre es Vivi y estoy recaudando fondos para mi primo Juan Carlos, su esposa Ariagnis y su pequeño Ethan. Juan Carlos y su familia llegaron recientemente a Chicago vía Texas. Son una de las cientos de familias Venezolanas que son expulsadas de estados antiinmigrantes como Texas y Florida y enviadas indiscriminadamente a varios estados.
