The Johnson Perry Joyner (JPJ) family reunion committee expands the activities of planning the yearly family reunion dinner event to become a support and source of enrichment to the family members, community and friends of the JPJ family. Our mission is to continue the family legacy of community support and unity. JPJ raises money to allow anyone who want to attend the yearly dinner to be able to be able to attend, with minimal cost. We also have a goal to maintain our deceased family's grave sites. The benefit on knowing your extended family is that it fosters a sense of community, expands one’s experience and increase social support. It can also provide a sense of belonging, provide mentorship opportunities and to improve overall development and well-being.
