My name is Joy McDaniel and I got accepted to the California State Summer School for Math and Science (COSMOS) on UC Irvine's campus! I will be there from July 6 to August 2. I am reaching out because without your support I will not be able to attend. COSMOS is an intensive four-week summer residential pre-college program for high school students who have demonstrated an aptitude for academic and professional careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects. I will have the opportunity to work with renowned faculty, researchers, and scientists in state-of-the-art facilities while exploring advanced STEM topics through a challenging curriculum that is both hands-on and lab-intensive. I will be a part of the Bioengineering Your Brain: Controlling the World with Your Brainwaves Cluster! I really look forward to attending, but will not be able without your support.
