Hi everyone, my name is Jackie Reotutar. My precious baby girl was taken from her family in the tragic mass shooting at her cousin's birthday party on 11/29, in Stockton.

Journey Rose was a kind and helpful 8-year-old girl. She was a third grader at Commodore Stockton Skills School, where she had many friends. She loved school and was excited to tell her family about what she learned every day. She was a curious and gentle soul who touched many hearts. Journey loved art, crafting, baking, and gymnastics.

Journey was always an inspiration for her family to do their best. She would always offer a helping hand to anyone she knew. She was a smart girl who loved trivia and solving math games. Journey was growing up beautifully and should have had a long life where she could learn and play as much as she pleased. She had so many dreams and goals she wanted to reach. Journey wanted to be a cheerleader when she entered high school & to continue her love for gymnastics. She wished to become a doctor & follow in her sister's footsteps. She wanted to help people.

Journey Rose was taken from her family leaving behind her father, mother, 18-year-old sister, her 15-year-old brother, and her 10-year-old brother. They had so many adventures together. We all wish we could continue those fun times together. Being able to see Journey grow and become the beautiful woman she was destined to become.
