I am creating this go fund me for my brother Joshua Miller.

Joshua was rushed to the hospital on July 1st. Upon arrival he was facing the devastating news that he would require open heart surgery. When entering the operating room Joshua suffered cardiac arrest, his brain was without oxygen for 10 minutes, causing an anoxic brain injury. The doctor was able to bring him back and successfully complete the operation. since the initial operation there have been quite a few medical setbacks, he has suffered two leg amputations ,renal failure and is on a tracheostomy. He requires 24 hour care. Bills continue to pile up.Joshua has two sons that need him to get as healthy as possible to be there for them. Their mom is not only mentally and physically drained from visiting the hospital on a daily basis. She’s trying to work and take care of the boys and really needs help. Our mom Ida is also in charge of decision-making which hasn’t been easy and forced her to take a leave from work, making financial issues greater. Emotionally, She is drained as well and the cost of daily expenses are piling up. Joshua has 2 brothers, I Mark Miller and Cody Moore, are doing the best we can to assist in every way . But Joshua will need to transition to an acute care/ rehabilitation facility in the near future. The transition will be costly but necessary for his future success. Joshua will need to learn to talk again, learn the basic fundamentals like eating, chewing, swallowing, dressing himself and the list goes on. This process will take years and we know that 100% recovery just isn’t possible. Although medical Insurance covers some, but not all, we ask for your help. We ask you to consider helping in anyway possible. Joshua has a big heart that has been mended. The fact that he is still with us is a Miracle and we know his strength in wanting to live is present everyday. Please help us continue Joshua’s fight by contributing and sharing !
