Support Josh's Recovery and Family

On March 14, 2025, in the early morning, Melia received a heart-wrenching phone call - Josh was in the hospital from a serious on-duty collision. He was critical, but he was quickly stabilized by the hardworking staff at Banner University. Those of us who’ve come to know Josh know he’s stubborn enough to surpass this out of pure will. He’s got the will and power to overcome just about anything. We know he will come out strong and be back chasing after SPs. People underestimate how fast Josh is on the streets, and just so you know, I saw him take down an NCAA track star once.
Now it’s our turn to give back all that we can to make sure Melia, Liam, and Cam are taken care of, and most of all, make sure his boat is safe so he can get back out on the water. We all know how much he loves Melia and the boys, and most of all his boat. I’ve known this family for 9 years, and I know some of you have known them longer. They deserve the best care we can give them, and I know Melia is appreciative of everything that everyone has done thus far. We know if the situations were reversed, they would be doing the absolute most for each and every one of us in order to ensure our families were taken care of, especially in a time of need. So anything at all you can give is worth everything.
Just a little about Josh. He’s been married to Melia for 8 years; they have two beautiful sons, Liam (4) and Cameron (1), who are basically Josh’s mini clones. Melia, Liam, and Cam (and his boat...jk Melia) are his world. Josh is what you would call “the life of the party.” He does a great job at hyping up everyone he cares for. If you ever needed support, he is someone that will be there shouting and cheering for you. He has a big heart and an even bigger head. He’s been with PPD for 10 years. If you ever had to picture what a cop's cop is, it’s him. He is compassionate when needed and tough when applicable. I could write a book, but this is but a little light of the great person he is. So if you have the means, please help my little big brother, my partner in fighting crime, and his beautiful family (and boat).
