Help Josh Plowman Return Home to the Midwest

Hi, my name is Brian Teach, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my longtime friend, Josh Plowman.

Josh moved to California years ago to help take care of his family during a difficult time. He’s given his heart and energy to support the people he loves—but now, that chapter is coming to a close. With his responsibilities there winding down, Josh is hoping to return to the Midwest, where he once lived, to reconnect with close friends and rebuild his life in a place that feels like home.

What makes this move especially important is that Josh has been living with a long-term injury. About 15 years ago, he suffered a serious hip injury that never properly healed. His hip set incorrectly, limiting his mobility and making daily life more difficult. Physical work has become a challenge, and opportunities have been limited because of it.

This fundraiser is about giving Josh a fresh start—helping him get back to a community that supports him and into an environment where he can begin to move forward again.

Josh isn’t someone who asks for much. He’s always been the one stepping up for others. Now, it’s our turn to step up for him.
