A STORY OF LOVE
Eva and I were overjoyed when we discovered we were expecting our first child, full of dreams and hopes. Joseph was born prematurely in 2008, spent 2 months in ICU, and when he was 3, it became clear that he was on the autism spectrum. The early birth and diagnosis brought a lot of fear, stress, and sleepless nights. We made a promise: to give Joseph every chance to become the best he could be. Over the years, we explored many therapeutic approaches. And through all of this, there was one constant: love.
Since the beginning of his life, Joseph has lived with his parents in a Camphill Community, a place that is part of an international movement where people with and without developmental disabilities live and work together as equals. He has grown into a gentle young man, and he is nearly 18.
He is thriving, and Camphill is his home, his world, and our hope for his future. Camphill is a place where he is known, loved, and supported, where he can continue to work and belong.
Your donation will help make Joseph's future in Camphill more secure and concrete. No gift is too small. Every contribution is a gesture of trust and a message that says that Joseph belongs to Camphill, and we want this life to continue for him. From our hearts: thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting us in any way you can.
