My dad is a humble and hardworking man. He is a pastor with a noble heart. His mission is to pray and share the word of the Lord every day. He is an exemplary father, but on December 3, 2025, our joy turned to sorrow. My dad was returning from work when a group of immigration agents violently and unjustly assaulted us. My 6-year-old niece witnessed everything and cried a lot. My 13-year-old brother and I, a 16-year-old U.S. citizen, were handcuffed. My 48-year-old father was arrested. I am studying online. My dad had plans for me to become a lawyer here in the United States, but I feel that is over now. Now I have to work and help my family, and I wholeheartedly ask for your prayers and support so I can pay for a lawyer and bail for my father, José Rizo, who is currently at the Adams County Correctional Center in Mississippi. With every small contribution, we can achieve my father's freedom. Thank you.
