Support Jose Martinez's Legal Battle for Freedom

Hey everyone, this is my father, Jose Martinez. He is a father to 11 children. When my dad met my mom, she already had 4 children, but he stepped up and became their dad. Then he had the 7 of us later with my mother. He’s a great, hardworking man. He started working since he was a child because he had a rough life. But his mission in life was to make sure we had a great life and could achieve many goals in our lives. So he did do that. My father is the head of our household; he takes care of all of us no matter what. My father's youngest is 3, and his oldest would’ve turned 29, but sadly, she passed away 3 years ago. But no matter the age or job, my dad is always there. Anyone who has met my father can tell you that he’s the sweetest and most caring man, also hardworking. He’s known in Charlotte as one of the best sheet rockers there is in the city.

Sadly, yesterday, my dad got taken away from his family when immigration stopped him and his fellow coworkers for racial profiling. All they were doing was heading to work to make money to support their families, but they got targeted. Since my father has a work van, they stopped him. He read his rights, and immigration told them if they didn’t step out of the vehicle, they would hurt them. So now I’m asking anyone if they can donate and help my family to get my father a lawyer so he can return back to his family. We miss him so much, and he doesn’t deserve this. We are all devastated, just crying and crying and trying to get in contact with him. Please just help us, and God is with us on this journey. All we can do is pray.
