Hello all,

I am Rosario, wife of Jorge Cardenas.

We have 3 beautiful kids.

On Saturday, November 8th, just one day before our 18th anniversary, the most difficult moment of my life began!

What would have been a normal workday quickly escalated into a hospital where, thanks to his mom's and immediate action, he was saved from the massive stroke he was suffering. As a result of the stroke, Jorge is currently unable to speak, so his care is 100% my responsibility at the moment, l am his voice and his guide through this process. He doesn't want me to leave his side for a second.

With the help of his cousin, I was able to understand everything of what was happening , and she has helped me cope with the whole process calmly.

I cannot describe in words the immense support I received from her and friends while I was in the hospital.

I haven't even been able to sit down and process everything that's happened to our family in this past 7 days l've been living on just one meal a day, sleeping very little, I'm a mom of three amazing kids, and I'm trying to make the process as easy as possible for them. My in-laws have been an immense support!

We are truly blessed for all the support l've been receiving.

Jorge is an excellent son, father, and husband, and I can't even believe I'm writing this and experiencing it in real time.

Your help will allow me to cover expenses, food, and medical needs.

It will also help with the stress I'm experiencing right now because I have to be the head of my family and I need to focus on his recovery and continued being the mom my kids need.

These past seven days have been long, and this is just the beginning of what's to come.

PLEASE keep Jorge and our family in your prayers so that we can find strength, light, and peace on this path that God has destined for us.
