My daughter Jordin is facing one of the hardest moments of her life. On December 7th, she tragically and unexpectedly lost her life partner, who was the role of a stepfather to her two children, Nevaeh (14) and Noah (11). The loss has been devastating for the whole family, and Jordin is doing everything she can to hold things together for her kids while they all grieve.

Jordin has always been a hard worker, but now she’s trying to manage what was a two-income household on her own. She’s picking up extra shifts whenever possible, but she’s worried about keeping a roof over her children’s heads and providing them with anything for Christmas. Nevaeh and Noah are struggling to understand the loss of their acting stepfather and are grieving deeply as well. The financial strain is making it even harder for Jordin to focus on what matters most—her children and their healing.
