My name is Jonathan Cruz Silva! I am an 18 year old, first generation Mexican who has recently graduated from Tree of Life Christian Schools! I have two missions trips to Guatemala and Ecuador coming up this year! As someone who has been on two missions trips, I can conclude they are life changing. I cannot wait to help and be inspired by the joy and kindness that is shared by the locals! Prayers would be greatly appreciated alongside donations and sharing this, anything helps!

Missions trip to:

Guatemala (July 19-25)

Location: Juan del obispo and the villages of Pachimulin and Poaquil.

The team I am going with will be helping by connecting with the kids through vbs and funny plays. There will be an opportunity for the team to build a house for a family In need. We will be sharing our story through church services. And we will be hearing the hard and inspiring stories of the amazing locals through food distribution. Food distribution is where we visit homes bringing a care package of food items and toiletries. We have been given the opportunity to have a rest day in Antigua as well.

Ecuador (Nov 6-10)

Location: Guayaquil and Cuenca

I will be a translator for the team from my village ministries or MVM who will be meeting with local Ecuadorian church leaders to share their experience and practices of activating the local church to “come alongside families in crisis and provide community and support to help them get to the other side.” MVM does this “by placing children with host families for a short period of time, providing coaching and training for parents, and welcoming those who are isolated into a Christ-centered community.”
