Support Jonathan's Dream of Family Reunion

My Name is Jonathan Bailey, I was born Giovanni DeNunzio in Naples Italy in 1976. Yes I am old now. I was adopted by an amazing American couple called the Baileys in 1977. I spent 45 years in America before I decided to try and go to Italy. I saved for years to be able to go and finally in 2020 I gathered all my information and started to plan my trip. Among the papers my dad gave me was a piece of loose leaf paper that was typed on in 1976. It was not very official but the info on the page would change my life forever. The first line listed a name of a lady called Adelle, her birth day and her last know address. This was my birth mom. I had found information on my biological family still living in Italy. The next line had the name of my father Giuseppe, My mind was blown!! I had just found info on my birth parents, but the next line would blow me away even more. It read "Giovanni Scarola, Adopted father of Antonio , Giovanni's Brother. This meant I have a brother!!!! And his name is Antonio!!!! I would search Facebook looking for Antonio Scarola in Naples Italy and I found thousands of men with that name in Italy, but when I found his picture I was sure I found my brother because we looked almost exactly alike!! I had found my long Lost Brother!!!! When I reached out to him for the first time he told me that they have been looking for me for 40 years and I have 3 sisters!! My sisters are Wanda, Anna and Rosa. We connected that eve on skype, It was just crying and pointing at each other as I couldn't speak Italian and they could not speak English, but love is love and family is forever no matter how long we have been apart. But since it was 2020 I was unable to go there. I would have swam if it was possible so, I waited another 2 very long years before getting a chance to finally go meet them in person. It was the trip of a lifetime. it changed me profoundly and I was made whole by the experience. I have been able to visit one more time since then, last year in 2024. But now I am out of money and I cannot get back there, So I am asking your help to make a dream one true for my brother and sisters in Italy. I will turn 50 in June of 2026 and I need my family here with me.

In November of 2024 my sister Rosa Passed away. I had just found her and I lost her just as quickly. It left me and my family devastated. But it also put our need to spend as ,much time together as possible in perspective. We need to figure this out now, before life takes over and puts us out of reach.

I want desperately to have my family come to the USA to visit and meet the family that raised me and gave me such an amazing life. I can probably come up with money for one of them to come and I have their lodging all worked out. I even Have a car for them to share, but I need your help getting the rest here in 2026.

A plane ticket from Naples Italy to BWI in Maryland costs about $1200 USA ( economy with at least one layover), I have 7 people I want to bring over. My brother Antonio and his wife Rachelle along with their son Gioelle. My sisters Wanda and Anna and Rosa's Daughter (My Niece) Clementine and her Husband. Because Rosa will not be with us , it is important to have her daughter here with us.

I know we all have so much in our lives that are more important that getting a few Italians to America for a visit, but for me there is nothing more important than Family. Unfortunately for us I am not wealthy and Italy is far away. I would forever be grateful to all of you if you could help make this dream a reality. Not only for me but for my brother and sisters. I want to show them that our mother made the greatest sacrifice, letting her son go so that he might prosper, and it was the right decision. As hard as I know it was, she helped make my life amazing , I just want to share as much of my happiness with them as I can. Maybe having them here will allow them all to understand Adelle's decision and maybe together we can start healing so we can grow together, as a family.

I am asking a total of $10,500 for 7 plane tickets from Naples Italy to BWI in Maryland in June of 2026. I can not express my gratitude to all of you for stepping up and helping however you can.
