Support Jon Antoine's Family

Family, friends, and colleagues mourn the unexpected passing of Jon Antoine. Jon served as the Executive Director of the South Forsyth Community Improvement District (CID); he was a Board Member of the Council for Quality Growth, and he previously served as the Public Safety Director for the ATL Airport CIDs. Not only was he our colleague and friend, but he was a beloved husband, father, friend, brother, mentor, and so much more to many others in and around Atlanta. He was born and raised in California and spent summers in Louisiana with his extended family. Jon served his community as a member of law enforcement for more than 25 years after attending Georgia Southern University, receiving his Bachelor's degree from St. Leo University, and his Master's degree from Columbus State University. He was also heavily invested in service to his community as a youth sports coach. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., a very active member, lodge brother, and Past Master of the W. C. Thomas Lodge #112 (PHA), and a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Jon and his dear wife Beth were involved in a vehicle crash on Sunday, April 28, 2024, while returning from a getaway in Chattanooga, TN. Sadly, Jon passed away while Beth was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, where she underwent two surgeries to address her injuries. Their children remain steadfast by their mother's side as she faces an extensive recovery. Though they are grieving, they remain united and strong through this incredibly trying time.

The unexpected burden of medical expenses has put a tremendous strain on the Antoine family. Additionally, there are college expenses for the youngest child, who is enrolled at Florida A&M University. We are seeking your support in the wake of the sudden and tragic loss they are experiencing.
