Support Jon and Catherine's Next Embryo Transfer

We are so excited to continue growing our family! Here's a little recap and update on our embryo adoption journey ❄️

At the end of 2022, we finalized our adoption of eight precious embryos through the Snowflake Embryo Adoption program. After a successful natural cycle frozen embryo transfer in February 2023, we welcomed our baby boy, Cyrus, into the world in late October 2023!

Now, at the end of 2024, we are amazed at the ways the LORD has been with us and provided for us throughout this entire journey: the year-long adoption process, the embryo transfers (both of which were funded through generous grants/gifts), my pregnancy with Cyrus, our unintentional free birth at home, and this first year of being new parents. He has truly supplied everything we've needed on this journey, and we trust He will continue to!

Now that we've gotten through the first year of parenting, we're thinking, "we could do this again!" Haha. But truly, we are excited to give another sweet embryo a chance to grow and thrive, just like Cyrus.

We have six adopted frozen embryos remaining, and we are hopeful of pursuing another FET in the coming months in the hopes of growing our family. These six embryos are genetic siblings to our son, and we can't wait for him to have a brother or sister! Thankfully, after some recent visits with our doctor, we have the green light to pursue another FET when we're ready, when my cycle aligns with their availability, and when we have the funds to do so!

Speaking of funds, which is why we're here on GoFundMe in the first place, the total cost for going through the FET process again is $6,420. This covers the preliminary appointments, testing, and lab work, as well as the actual transfer itself - and it's a lot. Unfortunately, these are expenses that our insurance does not cover and are thus out-of-pocket for us.

Any amount given toward our future frozen embryo transfer would be a tremendous help to us. It would allow us to continue our dream of giving each of these embryos a chance to live and thrive, and to continue growing our family!
