Support Johnny's Recovery and Medical Bills

Hello everyone! My name is Ariel! I am setting up this GoFundMe for my dad! His name is Johnny! My dad recently retired this year from his job of 35+ years due to his health declining. He stayed working two days a week, and due to this, he lost his health insurance and cannot get Medicare until September, when he will be of age for Medicare!

He recently got sick and had to be rushed to the local hospital, and we found out he has an aortic dissection. He was in ICU for two weeks in Huntsville and had his surgery during that time to fix it. He was discharged from the hospital about one week after his surgery, and I had to take him back to our local ER. He was transported back to Huntsville again, back to ICU, and now to a regular floor. We are getting close to being there a whole month, and everyone knows how quickly hospital bills pile up, especially with no insurance.

He has had a hard time with all of this, is in constant pain, has no energy, and is completely weak. He is still in the hospital. I wanted him to be able to go to rehab to help build him up when he does get out, but he has no insurance, and his medical bills are piling up as I type this out.

My dad is the most giving, loving, wholehearted person you would ever meet. He would give his last dollar or cent to anyone and always has. He has had a lot of things happen to him in the past due to his sweet heart! This has killed me and my sibling, seeing him in pain and also not being able to be with him every day while he is in the hospital.

I do not want him worrying when he gets out about bills piling up when he needs to worry about healing. He has grandbabies that adore him and kids that still need their daddy! Please help if you can! Prayers are needed as well! We just wanna see him well again! Anything anyone can give will be used for him, for rehab, hospital bills, and helping him get by! God has him, I know it!
