If you know John and Jetski, they’re the most independent, hard-working, and generous people you know. Jetski left the workforce 7 years ago to care for her mom and raise the kids while John has been the sole bread-winner.

Last Sunday John left our home after a playdate with the kids and felt feverish and sick. He was admitted to the hospital on July 28, 2025, with a life-threatening case of sepsis caused by a severe right leg infection and pneumonia. His condition quickly escalated into acute organ dysfunction and streptococcal septicemia, a critical bloodstream infection. In addition to this, John is battling acute-on-chronic kidney failure, metabolic acidosis, and hyperkalemia—all of which are extremely dangerous and require intensive treatment and monitoring.

Despite the severity of his condition, John is showing incredible strength and is beginning to feel better thanks to the outstanding medical team caring for him as well as his wife and mother by his side.

However, the financial burden of his hospitalization, treatment, medications, and anticipated long recovery is overwhelming for Jetski who didn’t ask for my help. I asked how we could help her when I saw the tears she shed and the saddness on her face yesterday.

We are asking for your help to support John, Jetski and their 3 kids. Your generous donation will go directly toward:
• Ongoing hospital bills and specialist care not covered by insurance.
• Recovery and rehabilitation costs
• Basic living expenses while he is unable to work including 2 months of mortgage + utilities.

Every prayer, share, and dollar counts. Please consider donating or sharing this campaign to help us ease John’s financial strain and focus entirely on her healing.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love and support.

With gratitude,
Mark & Jen
