Hello! My name is John Hartman, and I am currently working toward earning the rank of Eagle Scout as a member of Troop 300. For my Eagle Scout project, I will be constructing a Gaga ball pit and assembling raised garden beds at Fairview Intermediate School in New Cumberland.

The goal of this project is to create a fun, active space for students to exercise and play during recess while also providing an educational area where they can learn about plants, gardening, and how food grows. Together, these additions will help promote both physical activity and hands-on learning for the students.

My fundraising goal is $1,200, which will cover the cost of all materials needed to build the Gaga ball pit and raised beds. Any contribution—large or small—will go directly toward purchasing wood, soil, and other supplies needed to make this project a success.
