In the military and in the motorcycle community there is a saying "leave no brother behind." I am a firm believer in this. I also believe that means in all aspects of their life. I believe we are to be there for them physically, mentally, spiritually and financially. Having said that this is my brother John and his wife Valerie. He has been in the hospital since New Year's Eve with kidney failure and other health issues. Since he has been in the hospital Valerie has been staying with him so neither have had income coming in. For anyone that has had a loved one in the hospital for an extend time you know the financial burdens that causes. Just gas and food alone is taking a toll because she is driving back and forth each day. Additionally while there is no income coming in for either of them the bills are still coming. In addition to the medical bills there is the normal every expenses house payment, utilities etc. No amount is to small and all are appreciated.
