Support Joe's Recovery and Medical Expenses

Hi, friends and family. My name is Jackie and I'm Joe's oldest daughter.

On Friday, Sept 20th, Dad started to get a headache. Saturday, the headache was still there, and Sunday he said he was feeling a little foggy and had terrible neck pain. By the early morning of Monday, he had terrible shakes, was unstable on his feet, and was leaning to the side.

When Dad was taken to the ER, the nurse wondered if he was having a stroke, and he was admitted.

Dad had high fevers of 103, terrible back pain, loss of movement/strength in his arms, and cognitively was slow in responding and moving. Every test and scan was done with no results or diagnosis. Everything has come back negative or normal. Dad is now out of the hospital and is coming to stay with me and my family.

As you know, Dad is an owner-operator and is unable to work. Because we don't know what we are dealing with, we don't know how long he will be affected by whatever this is or if this is his new normal.

I have created this GoFundMe to help alleviate the immediate additional stress of not working at this time, not having a diagnosis which also means not knowing when/if he can get back to work.

In the coming weeks, we will be attending more doctor appointments and having conversations on how/when to gather his things in Florida, what to do with his big truck, etc. Thank you for your support of our dad. We will continue to update you as we learn more.
