Support for Joe Barone and Family After Tragic House Fire

We’ve started a GoFundMe to support Joe Barone, Director of IT Service Management, and his family after their home was tragically destroyed in a fire this week. Joe, a New Jersey native, and his wife, Alessandra, have lived in their Howell, NJ home for over 15 years. Joe has dedicated more than 15 years to Lennar, working in IT.

For those who may not know, Joe has cerebral palsy, and their home was specially outfitted to meet his needs, including a ramp leading into the home, a backyard ramp, and a chairlift to access the upstairs and basement. The home was a safe and accessible space for Joe, Alessandra, and their three children: a two-year-old daughter, a four-year-old son, and a six-year-old daughter who is currently battling cancer.

Despite facing many challenges, Joe and his family have remained strong and resilient. They are currently staying with family while searching for a new home that can accommodate Joe’s mobility needs and provide stability for their children.
