My name is Jocabeth, and this is my dad.. my dad was detained by ICE and spent 3 months in the detention center, he was finally released on bond and is now continuing his immigration process, but because of all of this, he can no longer work or drive, my dad has always been a hardworking man that enjoys working to provide for our family and now he can no longer do that until he gets his work permit which can take up to a year! My dad is my everything and after everything he went through, I fear for his mental health. With all the immigrantion fees and rent and bills, I know he feels as if he can’t do anything even if he wanted to. He’s not the one to say how he really feels because he doesn’t want us to worry but I know that him not working is getting to him. I’m making this GoFundMe to raise some funds for him and get some weight off his shoulders!
