Love, Hope, and Prayers for JJ

The Bos and Laflamme families are asking friends and family to please send your love, hope and prayers to our little JJ.
Please read the message below from James Jack’s Mom and Dad.

"JJ began having seizures two weeks ago, just before his 6 month birthday. We went to Dartmouth Hospital for testing and he was diagnosed with an extremely rare neurological condition called infantile spasms (IS). The studies and information that can be found online for this condition are heartbreaking at best and the only thing keeping us sane right now are his occasional giggles and smiles. We had been awaiting a special medication that finally arrived on September 25.
JJ has been admitted to the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth to begin treatment. The hope is for the four week treatment to stop the seizures and that they do not return in the future. The good news is this condition was caught early, which is sometimes not the case as it can be hard to detect the spasms in young children, and JJ is not showing any signs of delayed or regressed brain development.
We love our son more than anything in the world and like any parent we wish every day for good health and happiness for him. Although we would love the support from visitors, the treatment he is undergoing takes a large toll on his immune system so we are asking for some space during his healing.
All we really want during this time is your love, support and prayers for JJ.” - Tom and Cari Bos
With good intentions I, Lisa- JJ's Aunt, along with other close family, are setting up this gofundme account to help ease the family's burden of upcoming hospital bills. Cari and Tom have been by JJ’s side through this all and have not been able to work much as they put all their effort into supporting JJ.
Many people have been asking how they can support the family as they focus on their baby boy and this is one way we can come together as a community to help Cari, Tom and little JJ.

For all those people lucky enough to have met JJ you know his smile and laugh are contagious. He is so full of life and we are all sending big hugs and positive energy his way!
Thank you in advance for considering a donation during this difficult time.
