Support Jisung and her Family’s Recovery from LA Fires

Our dear friends Jisung Catherine Kim, Anthony Chun, their teenaged daughters Fiona and Karina, and two precious dogs, have lost their family home and all of their belongings in the devastating Palisades Fire. This house was Anthony’s parents’ before Jisung and his family moved in— filled with two generations’ memories, Jisung, Anthony, Karina and Fiona’s priceless artwork, and so much more.

Jisung and Anthony are true pillars of the creative and activist community. They have opened their home on countless occasions (in the past year alone, to the GYOPO, WCDMZ, KPN communities), providing a much-needed space to gather, dream, and convene— a literal shelter in the storm. They have been generous supporters of the arts, creative expression, and community building especially for members of Coreanx diaspora. Jisung and Anthony have set a beautiful example of care through continuous acts of solidarity and mutual aid.

We deeply appreciate our community joining together to share in supporting Jisung, Anthony, Fiona, and Karina during this immensely difficult time . All contributions raised will go directly to the family to help cover the many costs of unmet needs related to this type of incalculable loss not fully covered by other disaster relief aid and/or insurance.
