Support for dads Post-Transplant Recovery

On 5/1/25, our dad, Jim, by the grace of God and a total miracle, received a very long-awaited liver transplant. I’m creating this fund on behalf of my sister and dad to help with his post-op care and housing.

Dad’s currently still in the ICU in Seattle, which is about 2 hours from home. Once he is released, he must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital and his medical team for a month under a strict quarantine. Therefore, we need to find an Airbnb or short-term rental; we cannot have him in a hotel or building with shared accommodations. His immune system will be extremely compromised while his body adjusts to the new liver and the anti-rejection meds. My sister, Lesley, who’s been by his side since day one of this long, exhausting race, will be with him. It will be very costly to rent, along with their food and living needs. We do not ask this easily or lightly. We are so grateful for the prayers, support, and love throughout this process. Thank you, God, and thank you all ♥️
